SBI to WordPress Transfer Update:
- Transferred more pages from SBI to WordPress.
- Thanks for providing feedback for this conversion. In reply to your question about moving party games C2 content to WordPress, I don't think that this would take much long. In fact, this would be rather easy since we'll only have to copy the content from SBI editor, paste into the WP editor, re-upload images and give some finishing touch to the post. That's it. I think that one blog post will not take more than 8-10 minutes on average.
- PPG is an exception because mostly it uses uploaded pages, formatting of the old pages is also very bad with a lot of broken paragraphs (no proper html formatting used to break lines) and now SBI is also changing the image names (due to site speed optimization) and therefore it's taking a little more time to convert.
- Else the best way to move pages is to identify and copy the HTML source code of the page, paste into WP, re-upload images and fine-tune it. I think sites like Ideal-Helper would take less than 10 minutes per page.
- Since this is my first conversion too, so I am also taking a bit more time because I also research plugins (like SEO tool and breadcrumb tool etc) and I have also encountered some design issues which I was able to fix after some research.
- Added EU cookie policy note to the WP site.
- Changed the Avatar image from default to Grandma's sketch.
- Found another issue when I realized that tier 3 pages have a different URL structure because WP also adds the parent page slug e.g. www.sitename.com/parentpage/currentpage.html
- Again I researched for a solution and found a plugin to solve this issue.
