(*Exclusive of $2.24 charged by oDesk)

(A screenshot from today's work diary)
  • Reposted the same previous job description (after making some little changes) for hiring a new contractor for list mailing project.
  • Already 50+ contractors have applied for the job application (within 30 minutes, I think the current job opening template is greatly helping in this regard because we haven't received so many applicants before this). I have screened some of them and shortlisted 5 of them, but I am still looking for some more applicants till tomorrow.

Content Building Support:

  • Built and illustrated T3 viral list builder, analyze report was not okay, but still ignorable. The page is ‘nofollow’ ‘noindex’ at the moment and didn’t distribute via Rss.
  • Submitted and published another transcribed blog post about impressum result research, please have a review

Party Games Website Support:

  • Thanks for proofreading the Truth or Dare video HIT on amazon Mechanical Turk, I have published the HIT now, but nobody has submitted any assignment to this HIT so far.
  • Added the said link to ‘Dare, Bloody or Vodka’. The additional line break that you mentioned in the video was due to adsense add.
  • Rotated more pages via Rss.
  • Here are recently published drinking stories:
    • Why I don’t drink with Steve anymore
    • The craziest drinking dare story ever.

Blogger Support:

  • I have accepted your invitation for the outsourcing coaching blog. Created a 160x600 banner and placed into the outsourcing coaching blog please have a review.
  • Also created a split test between squeeze page sign up form (basic vs V2)

List Mailing Support:

  • I have completed the productivity tracking spreadsheet that we can use as a giveaway for list mailing project. Please have a review of Dropbox
  • Managed Aizha and her tracking sheet, and sent messages via different listmailders where available.
  • I have updated Aizha’s productivity report for the month of July 2013, please have a review of Dropbox
  • Uploaded following work update to diary@ideal-helper:
    • Work Update - Comparison and Analysis of Project List Building

Other Administrative Support:

  • Sorry for the confusion regarding the above chart, actually it represents the overall productivity of both transcriptionist. So according to the data calculations, Maria took 3.70 minutes to transcribe one minute of audio, whereas Abi took 3.32 minutes to transcribe a minute of audio. I know there is not much of a difference in their overall productivity, but I think other charts define the comparison in a better manner.
  • There is a video in the high priority folder (28-07-2013 15-32-04) that I am unable to understand due to high background music. I think its about building T3 viral list builder page, but there are some additional information in the video that I am unable to listen. (Removed)
  • Similarly there is a video in the transcription folder (28-07-2013 15-19-42) has the same problem. (Removed)
  • Added 1:30 hours manual time because once again did the same mistake - Logged into another team on oDesk team application
  • Worked on two pending emails from Kathrin and fixed all proposed issued from both Aweber email messages and linked pages.
  • Created a new HIT on Mechanical Turk for Truth or Dares over the phone and asked for 10 submissions.
  • Submitted a transcribed bloglet (Catching Up Writing the Diary of My Virtual Assistant), please have a review.

Work Update - Comparison and Analysis of Project List Building

Overview
Work Period: July 29, 2013
Hours Worked: 5:10 @$2.22/hour
Money Paid to Me (Virtual Assistant): $10.33*
(*Exclusive of $1.14 charged by oDesk)
Overall Difficulty of Tasks: Easy

(A screenshot from today's work diary)
  • About my time tracking that I spent on list mailing tasks: Today I have separately tracked my time while working on this task and I exactly spent 17 minutes on all listbuilding tasks. This involves:
    • Reviewing of Aizha’s work diary,
    • Maintenance and updation of her tracking sheet,
    • Updation of link tracking analysis via viralurl
    • Submission of mail messages via different list mailers (Today I sent message via 4 out of 5 services. This is exception, usually I have only 2-3 mailing opportunities available each day)
  • Apart from that I think it took 20 additional minutes to calculate and provide you her productivity report that I sent you once a week. So all in all I spent maximum 1:20 hour/week on this whole task.
  • After I have sent a motivational email to Aizha, I only got a formal reply from her that ‘Hello, I am doing well.  Still, I am interested to this job and got no problem. Thank you for asking :)’
  • But I haven't noticed any improvement in her productivity, instead she has decreased her performance after that.
  • I am also creating an excel-sheet (for give away) similar to Aizha’s tracking report, in fact it will be a better tracking sheet which will also provide self generated reports, but that’s not finished yet. I will let you know once I am finished with it.

Party Games Website Update:

  • Rotated more pages via Rss.
  • Here is today’s newly published drinking story: My First Time Drinking Story
  • I have gathered all C2 posts from top 300 traffic pages and recorded into the Sitemap, Please have a review.

Administrative Support:

  • Listened to your sunday voicemail, made notes out of it and researched some project management tools, please review in the Dropbox: Project Management Tools.docs to see results.
  • About researching images via flickr: flickr is still very slow and takes a lot of time to load images, however I use google to search creative commons photos most of the time. Also browse flickr simultaneously and try to research a photo quickly.

Work Update - Completion of Website Penguin Audit

Overview
Work Period: July 16 & 17, 2013
Hours Worked: 10:20 @$2.22/hour
Money Paid to Me (Virtual Assistant): $20.67*
(*Exclusive of $2.27 charged by oDesk)
Overall Difficulty of Tasks: Medium

  • Completed the Penguin Research for the said website. (no screenshot or further info, because it was confidential info from SiteSell.) This took roughly 6 hours to do.

Party Games Website Update:

  • Removed the comment and posted within the content as you asked for Jelly Belly C2 post.
  • Rotated more pages via Rss.
  • Changed email id on impressum
  • Here are newly published drinking stories:
    • Drinking Dare Story - Peeing in the woods was horrible
    • My Drunken Truth or Dare Story
  • Please see Dropbox's party games folder, I have researched and saved all page URLs that have some explicit 'Keywords'

Aizha's Work Update and Feedback:

  • Managed Aizha and sent email messages via different email list building services.

  • About training her for sending mail messages: I think its better that I send email messages via list mailing services, it not only allows me to analyze the traffic and statistics, but also helps me to track her productivity closely.

It would be easy for her to send out the mail messages, but I think it would be a bit hard for her to track and manage all traffic stats and even if I review her work and productivity again, this will cause a lot of duplication of time and work.

Nevertheless, please provide me your opinion regarding this and if you are convinced that we should hand over the complete task to her, then I will try to train her accordingly.

Another reason for not giving her this task completely is her low performance during the past couple of weeks. In the last few days her average is below 2000 credits/hour which is very low. So please let me know about your feedback regarding her.

Administrative Support:

  • Transcribed the content for impressum and placed into the Dropbox.
  • Turned the word document into a short eBook, please review the ebook in the same folder.
  • I have published the dropbox 48 GB post as a bloglet. Please have a review of ideal helper blog. Also archived it for future submission.
  • Based on your video instructions, I have put researched results and screenshots for the viralurl Tier 3 page, please have a review of Dropbox.

  • Transcribed and submitted a comment under the following post, but I think they don't publish visitor comments because the comment is not published yet.
  • Created a copy of a squeeze page aweber form as you said in one of the high priority videos and after that I realized that we haven't used squeeze page form on this blog. In fact we have used a simple right column sign up form here, so I think in the video you have asked me to place this split test to the diary by mistake.
  • Also created all analysis and screenshots that you asked me in another high priority video about Adchiever free platinum upgrade.

Overall Difficulty of Tasks: Medium

(A screenshot from today's work diary)
  • Uploaded following updates:

  • Thanks for the feedback for diary work, I mentioned 'hard' to one of the posts because it was little tedious to post so many interview pages at once, obviously its little difficult to use too many speech bubbles especially when you have to use minimum HTML, but it doesn't mean that this is something I really don't like to do. I just mention it 'hard' because it was a bit more challenging than 'Medium' difficulty tasks. Perhaps I should use some other word for this.
  • Added the said affiliate line to the diary work update and linked to SBI! affiliate link.
  • I have disabled my visits for tracking of diary@bloggers stats.
  • Linked the following text in a diary post to SBI! affiliate link. Since there is no specific affiliate URL for SBI! forums, therefore I have linked it to SBI! tools.
  • Linked the following text in a diary post to SBI! affiliate link. Since there is no specific affiliate URL for SBI! forums, therefore I have linked it to SBI! tools.

  • Received two other short submission, but both submitted were by real visitors and also had real email addresses, therefore published both as C2 posts and then merged them with another short submission. Please have a review.

Ideal-Helper Administrative Support:

  • About the Google search snippet for "Email Marketing Assistant" page, I am not sure where it comes from. We haven't use 'email marketing assistant here' as the page title. In fact we haven't used these terms anywhere in this page.

  • Although I have transcribed the comment for YouTube, but it needs some proofreading, please see Dropbox high priority folder.
  • Transcribed and submitted a blog post; "How to get 48GB bonus space..." Since the blog post was less than 300 words therefore submitted it with 'nofollow' 'noindex'

Email List Building Services Update:

  • Emailed more messages via different list building services where available.
  • Added more analytics charts for list mailing services, please have a review of the ListBuilding_Tracking Excel Sheet because some of the listmailers (MylistFrong, Viralinbox) are not performing well and I think we should stop using them.

Email Marketing Support:

  • Researched for Aweber custom reporting, actually party games related reports are being updated regularly by Aweber, but as these reports were not added to the dashboard therefore these weren't visible.
However now I have added some reports to the Dashboard and now you can see them.

To add any report, first you need to click a list (under 'List Reports' which you can find on the left hand side), then you will see the required report.
Once the report is visible, you can click to detail and add this particular report to the Dashboard.

Hope this is clear and understandable.
  • To see zoho survey results and analytics, please go here. (You need to login via party games website to see results)

Administrative Support:

  • Sent ad messages via list mailers where available.
  • Worked some pending Emails from Kathrin and rectified all changes.
  • Researched the code to replace 'See more #hshtag' and implemented it. (It came up due to the Share-This bar when someone copied and pasted some text.) Now when you copy the content from Ideal-helper, you would not find this.

Money Paid to Me (Virtual Assistant): $20.67*
(*Exclusive of $2.27 charged by oDesk)
Overall Difficulty of Tasks: Easy

(A screenshot from today's work diary)
  • I have completely personalized the DUYP aweber blog broadcast template, please have a review.
  • Created another goal for Aweber confirmation page on Google Analytics.

Party Games Website Update:

  • Regularly rotated more pages via Rss.
  • Received a real visitor submission, published it after cleaning it a bit. Since it has less than 300 words, therefore used 'nofollow' 'noindex'. Please have a review.

Work Update - List Mailing Services Support and Analysis

Overview
Work Period: July 02 & 03, 2013
Hours Worked: 21:67 @$2.22/hour
Money Paid to Me (Virtual Assistant): $20.67*
(*Exclusive of $2.38 charged by oDesk)
Overall Difficulty of Tasks: Hard

(A screenshot from today's work diary)

  • Regularly Sent More messages via list mailers where possible
  • Feedback for Aizha's work: The quality of the work is good, but the speed is not as effective as it should be. In June she has worked for 17 days (23:20) hours and she has earned an average 3700 credits/hour which is not a bad score, but for the past two days she has only managed to earn 2000-2500 credits/hour which is very low

Administrative Support:

  • Submitted and merged all blog archives for the month of:

  • Did not distribute any of the above pages to Rss
  • In reply to the question you asked about converting the long interview into a podcast: I think it would take around 10-15 hours if I turn this into a podcast audio. Also the quality of the audio is not very good. Most of the times sentences are sort of broken and not easy to understand.
  • About linking another email account with your gmail account, I have sent you the procedure how you can do this.
  • About Rss rotation task, it requires around 10 minutes each day.
  • Also built following interview pages. All these pages are 'nofollow' 'noindex'

Party Game Website Support:

  • I have sent you mail forwarding request at your Gmail account so that you can receive emails from party game domain email account to Gmail
  • Regularly Rotated more DUYP pages via Rss.
  • Here are the newly published stories:
    • Embarrassment and Licking a Tree
    • The Dark Night When I met Her

    Email Marketing Support:

    • About Aweber Popup form: I have used javascript code for all aweber forms, the screenshot you were indicating, I was just trying to find out a way so that I can hide it from mobile view but in vain.

As I said in an earlier update that I couldn't find a way to disable it from mobile devices therefore I only used it to DUYP homepage because DUYP has around 50% mobile traffic.

    • About Aweber reports where only ideal-helper data is available, I think something is wrong there. If you get javascript code from aweber report settings, you'll see that both websites have same code. In my opinion this should be different.

    • Created a copy of Aweber pop over 2 form and created a split test between 30 seconds and 0 seconds.
    • Also implemented the same split test to the following pages:
      • Truth or Dare Stories
      • Naked Dare Stories
      • Sexy Dares-1
      • Strip Poker Stories
    • Created an Aweber Blog broadcast for party games website
